2 # Q: Can I have more then one table?
A: Extra vending tables are on a first come first served bases. Please asked about them when you register
*NEW*Q: Is there another way beside Paypal in which I can pay you ?
A:Yes there is. You can send Check( Personal or Business) or a Money order. Please include what package you want as a vendor and also what Luncheon plate as well as any additional extras. Please email us for address.
3 # Q; I am a small vendor that wants to share a table with another vendor can this be done?
A; We apologize At this time we are unable to do this.
4# We are putting a limit on the things that are being brought to swap so if you get an idea before hand its even better that way you know just what to bring!
What is this Swap/Trade thing on Friday night?
Friday night amidst the fun and games and dinner we will also be allowing for Attendees to trade with other people items . Straight trades only , no cash transactions. Once again NO cash transactions.
5 # Is there a charge for attending the swap meet?
No there is no charge for trading . We are deciding on the time and place of the swap/trade area but there is no additional fee for attendees. In addition, that is why we ask that you do not deal in cash at this trade meet, since you are not being charged a vendor fee we as that you respect these guidelines.
6 # Why are we putting a limit?
The large portion of the convention is paid for by Vendor fees . Vendors make their money back by selling to the Attendees. If there is a large amount of people bringing used items to sell or swap chances are you are not going to buy from the Vendors. We want to keep our Vendors happy as well as our Attendees who are stuck with something they don't want so we figured on this compromise.
7 # What is the limit/ amount of items I can bring to swap?
Max amount of items to swap is 4 total. If you have a question on this please pm me.
8 # Q:I am a vendor and want to get the preregistor package but wont be able to pay till a week after packages expires?
A: We will try to accomadate you however space is very limited for vendors and for attendees. Please contact us when you are able to register!
9 # :Are you making any money off of this convention?
Q: If you have noticed Vendoring fees, attendence fees are very low for the area.. We have done this on purpose. All monies are going to hotel convention room rental,actual ,food flyers ,advertising etc. Remember there is also tax on everything for us to pay. Our goal is to attract as many BJD curious people as we can not get rich. It's a labor of love , BJD love that is ! : )
Q: I am not a salesperson but I have alot of BJD things I dont need anymore can I sell?
A: If your items BJD related , wigs, shoes, eyes, asseories ,furniture etc are clean and in realativly good used condition then yes you may.
Sponsor /Donations Faqs
Q: I would like a presence at your convention but cannot attend
A: If you would you like to donate something BJD related we can include them in our gift bags for attendees. You will receive credit on our website, on our printed program in an AD form and to all convention goers.
Q: I cannot attend but I am not a huge company but a more modest (BJD clothes, Jewlery, wig etc) maker but would like to donate an item(s)
A: We truly appreciate any donations and all donations will either be given away used as prizes for the contests or placed in gift bags.We will also list you on the program and website as thanks!
What will the Convention entail?
The event itself will consist of a Friday evening sit down dinner,cupcake bar ,meet and greet, games, give aways and swap meet for people who preregistered only. Saturday there will be a vendor room, , sewing workshop, specially made NEW photo opp area( S) and giveaways ,working demostrations on face ups,wig ,games , Goody bags for all attendees who registered and Commerative photo that will be emailed to you.

Q: How do I attend this event?A: Go to the "ATTEND" tab on the left upper hand side of this website. Pick you Package either Attendee A or Attendee B or likewise Vendor A or B. Click the Paypal button to make a payment to us. We log your payment then send you a confirmation within 24 hours unless it is on a weekend or I am away.We can also invoice you or we also accept checks, money orders ahead of time. We are not responsible for late and misdirected snail mail.
Q: How do I know I will be able to get in?
A: You will see our Registration table at the front of the building
If you wish you can print out your PAYPAL receipt for us and bring it with you to the event or have your first and last name and paypal email ready for us. We find you in our records and thats it! Go in and enjoy yourself!

Q:Are they any rules for the contests?
A:There will be children in attendance and we would like to make this BJD convention a family friendly "PG" or "G" event.We would appreciate that for the costume contests that owners take this into consideration. Please see the CONTEST INFORMATION page for further information
How much do children cost to attend?
A:Because of the nature of this event and food will be served we have to charge per plate for both days. We apologize for the trouble. We only * beseech* you to ward off the "grabby hands" that sometimes come along with the joys of being a child. *Please see next question*
Q: What are ABJD , BJDS?
A: Asian Ball Jointed Dolls or Ball Jointed Dolls. These dolls range from tiny size 3 inches to 80 centemeters. They are made of resin have many points of articulation. You can change out their eyes, wigs even their make up. They range from child like dolls to teenange look dolls to mature men and women and yes even animals!
Here are some reference photos of my own dolls but there are a ton of way nicer dolls that will be at the convention!
Q: What are they made out of?
A: They are made out of polyurathane resin. They are pretty sturdy and heavy not like porcelin.
Q: How much do these doll cost?
A:Even though they are pretty sturdy they come with an even sturdier price tag . Dolls range from $100.00- to $1,000 Dollars but most dolls usually fall between the $400-$700 dollar range.The good news though is that some vendors offer layaway ! There is even a vendor who will bring American BJDs with a very competitive price of below $100.00
Q: Is there going to be security at this convention?
A:Yes there will be security at the convention site as well as the doll costume contest display. Attendees and vendors however are responsible for their own personal belongings. Please do not leave valueable unattended on floor, at luncheon or in room.
Q: I only collect ( type of non ABJD doll ) may I still attend or is this a closed event?
A: We wish all who are curious about Asian Ball Jointed Dolls to attend this event from savvy long time collectors to people who are curious and like dolls in general.
